Tactile sound installation

Floor-bound tactile loudspeaker installation. Materials: low frequency audio transducers, plywood, nylon, foam, audio amplifiers, earplugs.
Viewers experience a soundscape in physical form via laying on sound resonator platforms. The piece explores the inherent physicality of sound and the thresholds audibility. The piece is in five variations, each utilizing extremely low frequency sound waves generated via synthesis.
